Workplace Charging Scheme
The Government’s Office for Low Emission Vehicles funds the Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS).
The Workplace Charging Scheme (WCS) provides a grant for businesses as in incentive to reduce the cost of having electric vehicle charging (EV) point installed at their business premises.
The grant allows local authorities, businesses and charities to claim 75% of the total cost of installation, up to a maximum of £500 per socket installed, and with a maximum of 20 sockets across all sites for each applicant. UK based companies (exc. Channel Islands and Isle of Man) can claim and don’t need a plug-in vehicle on the company’s books to start with unlike grants for home EV charging point
The business would need to declare the requirement for the EV charging units on application this woudl include

the business already having existing EV fleet vehicles

To add an incentive for staff to purchase electric vehicles

To provide a EV charging for visitors, clients etc.

To charge electric vehicles that are to be purchased by the business in the future
Charging for customers to use your EV chargers (where applicable) is not eligible for funding.
EV Charging sockets must be fitted by OLEV accredited installers like us
Subject to meeting other criteria along with the above.
